It is a very good movie, though I prefer the 1951 film. There is too much violence from the authorities and besides Klaatu is not heard by anybody in this remake! Klaatu varada nikto!!!
Actually Keanu Reeves does pronounce the famous words in this remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still.
Klattu says "klaatu barakda nikto" at the beginning of the movie just after being shot: he says the magic words to calm down Gort who was entering full destruction mode.
